Gwyn is a week old!

Today Miss Gwyn Elizabeth is a week old. It's gone by super fast and she is just getting cuter by the day. Today I am going to snap some new pictures for my Mom so she can keep track of her growth while she is away in Kuwait. Alyssa is being a good girl so far, she acts like she has ants in her pants 99.9% of time, I wish she could just sit still... lol. Hopefully Carla is stopping by for a visit with us, she can't get enough of her newest niece Gwyn and Alyssa loves her to death.
Anywho, not much else to report. I'm almost feeling better and hopefully soon enough I will be back to normal so I can resume full babysitting duties for Alyssa.

Day Two in the Hospital

Here I am on my second day in the hospital, as of my last blog I didn't think Gwyn would ever come. Sure enough as soon as my Mom headed to Kuwait she was ready to make her appearance. Gwyn Elizabeth was born on July 16th at 1:22 pm by C-Section due to the fact she was breech. She was 7 pounds 2 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. I'm so happy she is finally here and that she is healthy.
Anywho, I'm severely bored here in the hospital tonight. Cody could not stay tonight because his leg was bothering him from the night before on the uncomfortable chair.
I'm off to get some rest, Gwyn is in the nursery. Talk to everyone soon!!

July 15th and still no baby...

Okay so I'm really bad at updating this blog. Most of the time I feel like I have nothing important to say, but this time I have a little bit to write about. So today Mom left for Summer trip with Ashleigh to Kuwait, she'll be back on September 4th I believe. Gwyn Elizabeth did not make her appearance before Mema left the country which made me a bit sad as I would have liked to have Mom with me. But I prefer that she got to go over and spend time with Dad in Kuwait and that both of them get to see her in September when he comes home for a two week stint.
Right now I'm 40 weeks and two days and my next appointment isn't scheduled until Monday in which I get an ultrasound to check how big she is and whether the fluid level is okay, a NST to make sure she is not in any kind of distress(she's not distressed just comfortable and stubborn) and then of course I see the doctor to make an appointment for my induction if it doesn't come sooner.
My boyfriend would prefer it if I stayed at his house from now until our daughter is born, but I have a responsiblity to Alyssa and to the house to make sure all is well with the animals and other things. I will be going over there a majority of the time after Gwyn gets here, just for now I'm comfortable at home and I'm not ready to make the leap quite yet. Hopefully it will all work out and everyone will be happy. I can handle the load I've taken on and I'm not worried about anything.
Anywho, I'm gonna head to bed. Just thought I'd update this blog and let everyone in my 3 person audience know what's up with me.
